Privacy warning on cloud computing

During Privacy Awareness Week the Queensland Government Chief Information Office (QGCIO) and the Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) are taking the opportunity to warn Departments and Agencies to consider the implications for security and privacy when using devices and apps in their work.

OIC’s Information Sheets How to make an Application under the RTI Act and How to make an Application under the IP Act have been updated to make it clear that applicants who wish to access documents of a department and documents of a Minister must make two applications: one to the department and one to the Minister.
