Privacy case note #1, 2021: Agency discloses information about debt to estranged family member

Case notes are examples of how we work to resolve privacy complaints made to us. They are real cases that our Office has worked on and they are intended to give practitioners an idea of how we apply the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) in resolving privacy disputes between complainants and respondent organisations or agencies.
