Training and events

We provide professional development training courses for people working with the:

  • Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld)
  • Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld)

Our training is available through face-to-face and online delivery methods. These courses have primarily been designed for Queensland government agency employees and relate to applying the legislative framework. However, interested parties are welcome to undertake our online training courses.

Your privacy

When you undertake one of the OIC's online training courses your contact details are collected for the purpose of awarding you a certificate of completion and to enable you to receive course evaluation feedback. OIC will also use information about your participation in the course to monitor the effectiveness of the training course and to inform higher-level general reports on OIC’s training activities. These reports are published as part of OIC’s accountability obligations but your personal details will not be included in the reports.
