Can I amend my medical records?

OIC has developed an information sheet for applicants who are seeking to have their medical records amended under the Information Privacy Act 2009. As agency decision makers would know, applications of this kind are often problematic as the circumstances in which a medical opinion can be amended are very rare. This information sheet is intended to assist OIC’s Enquiries officers and agency decision makers to help manage applicant expectations.
