This webinar is designed for officers in government with obligations under the IP Act who need to identify, assess or respond to a data breach.

The webinar provides an overview of Queensland’s MNDB scheme under the IP Act.

Participants will gain an understanding of their obligations when managing privacy breaches, including how to identify data breaches that are eligible under the MNDB scheme, assess risks, and notification requirements.

Through practical exercises and case studies, participants will also develop the skills and confidence to respond effectively to data breaches and mitigate potential risks to individuals and their agency.

Managing right to information applications

This webinar provides RTI practitioners with a practical understanding of critical aspects of the RTI Act, with a focus on compliance post-IPOLA.

The webinar provides an overview of processing timeframes for access and amendment applications, managing external review remittals, verifying evidence of identification, and transferring applications to other agencies.
