Description: This course explores the application of the Queensland privacy principles, drawing on OIC tools, templates and audit learnings. It focuses on practical activities and scenario-based learning.
Who should attend? Privacy officers and other Queensland government employees who undertake or contribute to privacy impact assessments.
Description: This course builds on the foundational concepts covered in OIC’s online module, Understanding and applying the MNDB scheme, and previous in-person training. Participants will explore good practice for mitigating risks and managing data breaches through practical activities and scenario-based learning drawn from shared experiences.
Who should attend? Queensland government employees involved in identifying, assessing or managing a data breach involving personal information.
Description: This course focuses on practical guidance to support compliance with RTI obligations, focussing on the management of, and decision-making on, RTI applications, including shared learnings about issues raised by practitioners.
Who should attend? RTI practitioners and officers with delegated decision-making powers under the RTI Act.
