The applicant sought access to the student records and examination scripts of two students. 

The Information Commissioner applied the principles stated in: 

·       Aylward and Griffith University (1996 S0033, 5 February 1997, unreported);

·       Henderson and Queensland Health (1998 S0178, 1 February 2000, unreported);

·       Higgins and Queensland Health (1999 S0012, 1 February 2000, unreported); and

·       BKR and Queensland University of Technology; Queensland Nursing Council (1999) 5 QAR 70 

in finding that all of the matter in issue concerned the personal affairs of the students in question and was exempt from disclosure under s.44(1) of the FOI Act.
