This was a 'reverse FOI' application by Mr Bakharia, who objected to the disclosure to the access applicant of documents relating to his employment with the Department. The Information Commissioner found some information of a personal nature to be exempt under s.44(1) of the FOI Act, but most of it was not exempt because it merely concerned the performance by a public servant of his duties of employment (see Pope and Queensland Health (1994) 1 QAR 616 at p.660, paragraph 116).
