Media release: New IPOLA guidelines focus on procedural changes
OIC continues to deliver resources to help public sector agencies prepare for the IPOLA reforms due to start from 1 July 2025.
Five new guidelines are now available detailing the procedural changes brought about by the reforms to the Right to Information Act and Information Privacy Act.
New RTI guidelines:
- Amendment applications
- Providing access to documents
- Refusal to deal – previous application for same documents
- Timeframes under the RTI Act
New IP guideline:
