Webinar - Back to basics: Third party consultation
We're offering a back-to-basics workshop on 23 April 2024 to learn all about the how, when, why—and why not—of consulting with third parties under section 37 of the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) (RTI Act) and section 56 of the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) (IP Act). This foundational session is aimed at decision makers who may not have had much experience with consultation or who would like a refresher in how and when to effectively consult with third parties.
The workshop will cover:
- The purpose of consulting with third parties
- When you need to consult, and when you don’t
- How to conduct a third party consultation
- Timeframes
- What happens on review.
