Support Open Gov Week 2025

OIC encourages public sector agencies to proactively support Open Gov Week from 19-23 May 2025, which aims to bring government and civil society together to make communities stronger, more open, participatory, inclusive and accountable.

Open Gov Week is a global initiative promoted by the Open Government Partnership that aims to raise public awareness about the principles of open government and to foster collaboration among reformers from government and civil society. The global campaign highlights the importance of protecting things like justice, the right to information, anti-corruption, fiscal openness, freedom of media, public participation, inclusion and improving digital governance.

Open Gov Week demonstrates that government and civil society working together can transform communities and support more ambitious and impactful reforms.
