Information Awareness Week looks at impacts of AI
Information is a huge focus area for OIC and the work we carry out as an independent integrity agency, which is why we’re supporting Information Awareness Week again in 2025.
Running from 17-21 March, Information Awareness Week (IAW) is a collaborative event bringing together organisations in the records, archives, library, knowledge, information, and data management communities.
It provides an opportunity to promote modern and improved practices of managing information in Australia.
This year’s theme is ‘AI and IM – Empowering intelligent futures across all domains’.
This very timely theme focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) and how it is transforming information management (IM) in a changing world. It also questions the implications for how information is managed and accessed, as well as how to maintain integrity.
During 17-21 March, keep an eye out on OIC’s LinkedIn channel for IAW posts and visit the National Archives Australia website to find out more about IAW and webinars.
