Last month we concluded delivery of IPOLA Stage 1 - Awareness training, helping public sector staff prepare for future reforms to the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act) and Right to Information Act 2009 (RTI Act).
Over 1,030 attendees came to the sessions facilitated by Acting Privacy Commissioner Jim Forbes, both in-person and online. Jim travelled over 8,000km as he delivered training across the state, including the Gold Coast, Cairns and Mount Isa, with support from OIC’s IPOLA team.
