OIC continues to develop resources to help agencies prepare for the Information Privacy and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2023 (IPOLA) reforms, with the next release of guidelines focusing on the Queensland Privacy Principles (QPPs).
Newly published guidelines now complete the suite of seventeen QPP guidelines. These include a summary guide, in response to recent stakeholder feedback, along with detailed information on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information in different scenarios.

These guidelines deal with the IPOLA amendments in a general way. They will not be operative until the changes commence (predominantly on 1 July 2025).
