We are offering two separate webinars on privacy and re-identification risk. These follow our Privacy and Public Data audit report tabled in the Legislative Assembly on 14 July.
Public data supports transparent and accountable government. The benefits of public data include evidence-based policy design, innovation, and better service delivery. However, when agencies publish de-identified data, they should manage privacy risks the same way they do for risks in other activities. This includes managing and assessing the risk of re-identification and protecting personal information.
The first webinar: Managing re-identification risk will be held on 20 August 2020. Find out more and register here.
The second webinar: Assessing re-identification risk will be held on 3 September 2020. Find out more and register here.
