Help us make our website better
The Office of the Information Commissioner Queensland (OIC) is working with PeakXD, a user experience company, to help us learn more about what our website users want, need and expect. We will use the information gathered to help us improve the site to create a more useful and engaging experience for our users.
You are invited to register for a 1 hour in-depth activity and interview session. The 1 hour sessions will be held in early November and are available during the day or evening.
What is involved
PeakXD will interview you about your role, what information you access, and how you use our website. They will ask what is working well, what could be improved, and what your general feedback and suggestions are regarding the website. They will also ask you to use our website and complete some common tasks. At the end of the session, they will give you a quick survey on your experience.
There are two types of 1 hour sessions:
If you live in or around Brisbane, sessions will be face-to-face at your place of work, or in PeakXD's offices in South Brisbane.
Sessions from elsewhere in Queensland will be conducted using Skype screen sharing activity (for which you will need a good internet connection).
Following the interviews, PeakXD will report the findings to OIC. The OIC will not publish the report or individual results of the interviews. Results will only be used to make improvements to the website. If you wish to stay informed about what improvements we make to the website or to find out about any future research please subscribe to the OIC weekly updates
If you wish to find out more about the research or how the results will be used, please contact the Training and Stakeholder Relations team at OIC by e-mail – email@example.com
How do I register interest?
If you are interested in participating, please complete the registration form by Friday November 2.
Please note – there are a limited number of interview sessions available and participants will be selected to ensure a cross section of our stakeholders are reached. If you register to participate and are not selected for an interview you will be given the opportunity to provide feedback via a survey. You are under no obligation if you change your mind or are unavailable.
