Consulting with a relevant third party workshop

September 3, 2014 - 2:40pm

Consulting with a relevant third party workshop is a 90 minute session designed for agency officers who make decisions under the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) (RTI Act) and Chapter 3 of the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act).

Participants will learn practical tips for streamlining and managing the consultation process, including when and how to consult, writing an effective consultation letter, and making and delivering third party decisions.

This free workshop will explore all aspects of conducting a consultation with a relevant third party under section 37 of the RTI Act and section 56 of the IP Act.

The workshop will draw on agency and OIC experience, and guidance provided in the annotated legislation, guidelines and OIC external review decisions.
