Camera surveillance and privacy – follow-up review report

Queensland’s Office of the Information Commissioner’s (OIC) camera surveillance and privacy – follow-up review report was tabled in Parliament on Wednesday, 2 December 2015.

In 2012-13, the Office of the Information Commissioner reported on the extent to which camera surveillance systems in Queensland government agencies were designed and operated with privacy considerations in mind, as required by the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). This report assesses progress made in implementing the recommendations of that review.
