UK Deputy Information Commissioner, Graham Smith visiting Queensland

OIC has arranged for Graham Smith, UK Deputy Information Commissioner to share his experience and expertise with the Queensland public sector while he is visiting Australia on other business. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Commissioner in 2001, Graham enjoyed a career in local government, working for four local authorities over 20 years. As one of two Deputy Commissioners, Graham has lead responsibility for promoting and enforcing Freedom of Information. Graham will deliver two presentations to Queensland government agency officers with RTI responsibilities and OIC officers while in Brisbane in late March 2011.
