New RTI and IP publications, and two new information resources
The OIC has recently added two new resources to the Information Resources section of our website.
- Toolkit – this resource contains practical tools to assist decision makers and practitioners in working with the new legislation.
- Submissions – this resource contains submissions made by the Office of the Information Commissioner.
In addition, there are a number of new publications available:
- Questions on notice and information privacy – this information sheet explains the interaction of the privacy principles and the obligation to provide answers to questions on notice.
- The dog barking scenario – this mock application is intended to provide a worked example to decision makers, and consists of mock documents, a prescribed written notice of the decision, and an outline of the reasoning for the decision.
- Submission to the Australian Health Ministers Advisory Council on their recent discussion paper on Healthcare Identifiers and Privacy.
If you have any comments or suggestions on the content of these publications, or any other publications on the OIC website, please submit them to feedback@oic.qld.gov.au
