2010 Right to Information Day

The Queensland Office of the Information Commissioner in partnership with the Queensland Government will celebrate the 2010 Right to Information Day with two world class events. On the evening of 27 September at the Gallery of Modern Art on the Banks of the Brisbane River, Don Watson will deliver the second annual Solomon Lecture on the theme of "accessibility of public language". On  28 September, the Right to Information Forum will be held at the Sofitel Hotel, Brisbane Central, featuring Queensland's Attorney-General, Beth Noveck (Leader of President Obama's open government reforms), Bernard Salt (Demographer), Dr Nicholas Gruen (Chair of Government 2.0 Taskforce), academics, Queensland Government Directors-General and Geraldine Doogue (Master of Ceremonies).
