2009/2010 Queensland Right to Information and Information Privacy Annual Report

The Premier has released the Queensland Right to Information and Information Privacy Annual Report for the 1 July 2009-30 June 2010 reporting period. This is the first report on the operation of the Right to Information Act 2009 and the Information Privacy Act 2009.

The report gives an overview of right to information and information privacy activities across both state and local government in Queensland, and includes details of the matters prescribed under the Right to Information Regulation 2009 and the Information Privacy Regulation 2009 in relation to access and amendment applications. The report also highlights the efforts of Queensland public sector agencies in proactively releasing information to the community.
