Profile of the Privacy Commissioner

The Privacy Commissioner is appointed by Governor in Council to be a deputy to the Information Commissioner.  The Privacy Commissioner has specific responsibility for performing the Information Commissioner’s functions under the Information Privacy Act 2009, to the extent delegated by the Information Commissioner.
