Information Session

Raising privacy awareness in your agency

The Office of the Information Commissioner is providing specific half-day training sessions for agency Internal Review Decision Makers in August.

Following the release of the expression of interest for RTI and Information Privacy training request in April, the Office of the Information Commissioner has received more than 200 expressions of interest for training.

The Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) is providing training to prepare agencies to implement the proposed Right to Information Act 2009

The new OIC website has been under development for a period of time. As a direct result the Office has been unable to add new material to the website and a backlog of information, in particular decisions, is awaiting publication. It is anticipated that much of this information will be made available on the website in the coming days, which will result in a large volume of material being added to the website over a short period of time, and more numerous notification emails being sent to subscribers.
