Raising privacy awareness in your agency

The OIC has recently published two new documents in the Information Resources section of our website – marked ‘NEW’ next to the title.

The OIC has today published a Privacy self assessment guideline for use by agencies.  This guide is intended to assist agencies to assess their practices, procedures and activities for compliance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act).

The Office has recently advertised new employment opportunities. The advertised roles include 3 positions in our new performance monitoring and reporting area.

The OIC has recently published three documents in the Information Resources section of our website – marked ‘NEW’ next to the title. One of the new publications “Your Privacy Rights” has been designed for agencies to hand out to members of the public.
